View draft, scheduled, and sent messages and comments

The Drafts & Sent page shows all of the messages that you've created, sent, and scheduled. In ClickUp 4.0, you'll also see comments that you've created and sent on this page.

Open the Drafts & Sent page in ClickUp 4.0

In ClickUp 4.0, the Drafts & Sent page includes both messages and comments.

To open the Drafts & Sent page in ClickUp 4.0:

  1. In your Global Navigation, click Home.
  2. At the top of your Home Sidebar, select Drafts & Sent.
    • If you don't see the item in your Home Sidebar, click More and select it.
    • To keep the item visible in your Home Sidebar, pin it.

Open the Drafts & Sent page in ClickUp 3.0

In ClickUp 3.0, the Drafts & Sent page only includes messages.

To open the Drafts & Sent page in ClickUp 3.0:

  1. In the left Sidebar, click Chat.
  2. In Chat's sidebar, click Drafts & Sent.

View your drafts

When you open the Drafts & Sent page, you'll be on the Drafts tab. Any message or comment that you create but don't send is added to the Drafts tab. 

Comments are only displayed on the Drafts & Sent page in ClickUp 4.0.

See each draft's location, content, and when it was last edited in the LocationMessage, and Updated columns.

Click any draft to open it.

Drafts currently do not sync across devices and only display on the device which they were created.

Copy or delete drafts

Hover over a draft to display the copy and delete icons to the right.

Search drafts

You can search your drafts by clicking Search at the top.

Filter drafts

In ClickUp 4.0, you can filter drafts by clicking Filter in the upper-left corner. The following options are available:

Filter Description
Tasks Only display comment and thread reply drafts from tasks.
Docs

Only display comment and thread reply drafts from Docs.

Chats

Only display message and thread reply drafts from Channels and direct messages.

View your scheduled messages and comments

All of your scheduled messages and comments are displayed in the Scheduled tab. 

See each scheduled message or comment's location, content, and scheduled date and time in the Location, Message, and Send columns.

When a scheduled message or comment is sent, it will move to the Sent tab.

Search scheduled messages and comments

Search scheduled messages and comments by clicking Search at the top.

Send a message or comment now

If you don't want to wait for a scheduled message or comment's date and time, send it now:

  1. Hover over the scheduled message or comment.
  2. On the right, click the send icon.

Delete a scheduled message or comment

If you no longer want to send your scheduled message or comment:

  1. Hover over the scheduled message or comment.
  2. On the right, click the delete icon.

View your sent messages and comments

See all of your sent messages and comments in the Sent tab.

Comments are only displayed on the Drafts & Sent page in ClickUp 4.0.

See each sent message or comment's location, content, and when it was sent in the LocationMessage, and Sent columns.

Click any message or comment to open it.

Thread replies can be identified by the reply icon on the right.

Search sent messages and comments

Search sent messages and comments by clicking Search at the top.

Filter sent messages and comments

You can filter messages and comments by author by clicking the Author filter in the upper-left corner.

When filtering by another author:

  • You must have access to the Channel, task, or Doc to see the related messages or comments.
  • Direct messages are not displayed.

In ClickUp 4.0 you can choose to view only Chat messages by clicking the Chats filter in the upper-left corner.
