Use SyncUps in events
If a Google Calendar or Outlook event has a SyncUp link as its location, you can join it from your Planner.
At this time, SyncUps cannot be added to meetings you create from your Planner.
Use AI Notetaker
Use AI Notetaker to take notes and record meetings! To save time, have AI Notetaker automatically join and take notes for all meetings on the primary calendars you select.
Events that your AI Notetaker took notes for display a notepad icon next to them on your calendar.
AI Notetaker only works with primary calendars.
Use dock commands
In addition to scheduling tasks and meetings, you can use dock commands to save time.

The following commands are available:

Use the Planner Sidebar
- Priorities: Tasks from your Personal Priorities.
- Assigned to me: Tasks assigned to you.
- Today & overdue: Tasks that are due today or overdue.
- Backlog: Every task matching the List and filters you have selected. Similar to List view, you can choose how subtasks are displayed, add filters, and search for tasks.
Expand all-day events
All-day events can be expanded by clicking any day's header or All day in the upper-left corner.
If a Google Calendar event is marked as free instead of busy, it will not be displayed in the header for that day unless it is a meeting that you’ve accepted.
Troubleshoot performance issues
If you're experiencing performance issues with your Planner, please follow the instructions below to help our Support team troubleshoot it:
- Open your Planner.
- Right-click any empty area and select Inspect.
- At the top of the Inspect menu, click the More tabs button.
- Select Performance.
- In the upper-left corner, press the record button. Profiling will begin.
- Open your Planner.
- After the performance issues are captured, press Stop.
- At the top, click the download button.
- Click Save trace.
- Send the trace file to our support team for troubleshooting assistance. You can contact Support by clicking the chat bubble icon in the lower-right corner of this article.
