Open your Planner

Open your Planner to start scheduling events, creating tasks, and more!

Connect your calendar

Before you can start using your Planner:

After you connect a Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar, event changes made in ClickUp will automatically update in your external calendar and vice versa.

To see when your Planner was last synced, hover over the refresh icon in the upper-right corner.

Authorize Planner access

If you're using the Outlook Calendar integration, ClickUp requires a Microsoft admin to approve the necessary scopes.

If you're using the Google Calendar integration, ClickUp requires a Google admin to approve the necessary scopes.

Open your Planner in ClickUp 4.0

In ClickUp 4.0, there are two ways to open your Planner:

  • In your Global Navigation, click Planner.
    • If your Planner is not pinned, click More and select Planner.
  • In the upper-left corner of your Personal Calendar, click Planner.

Open your Personal Calendar

In ClickUp 4.0, you can open your standalone calendar to join and create events without the Planner Sidebar on the left.

To open your Personal Calendar, click the calendar icon or event name in your toolbar.

Open your Planner in ClickUp 3.0

In ClickUp 3.0, there are two ways to access your Planner from the toolbar:

  • To the left of the search bar, click the calendar icon.
  • In the upper-right corner, open the Quick Action menu and select Planner.
