Customize your Planner by updating the week, timescale, timezone, and much more!
What you'll need
- The Planner is available on every ClickUp plan.
- Guests can use the Planner.
- The Google Calendar integration and Outlook Calendar integration are available on every ClickUp plan.
Change week and timescale
Change the week and timescale of your Planner to only display the dates you need to see.
Change the week
To move between days and weeks, scroll left or right.
To select a different week:
- In the upper-left corner of your Planner, click the current month.
- Select the week you want to view.
Change the timescale
Customize your Planner's timescale using keyboard shortcuts or the timescale dropdown.
Using keyboard shortcuts
You can change your Planner's timescale using the following keyboard shortcuts:

1 day - 9 days:
1through9 -
Week:
Shift + W -
Month:
Shift + M
From the timescale dropdown
To change your Planner's timescale:
- In the upper-right, click the current timescale. By default, Week is selected.
- Select a timescale:
- Day
- 4 days
- Week
To hide weekends on your Planner, click the Show weekends toggle off.
Hide or show the Planner Sidebar
By default, the Planner Sidebar is expanded. To hide the Planner Sidebar:
- On the left, hover over the Planner Sidebar.
- At the top, click the double arrow icon.
To show the Planner Sidebar, click the double arrow icon at the top of your Global Navigation.
Change the timezone
Customize which timezones are displayed in your Planner.
Each timezone you add displays a column on the left side of your Planner. Reorder timezones by dragging and dropping them.
Add a timezone
To add a timezone:
- In the upper-left corner, click the plus icon next to the current time zone. Search for and select a new timezone.
- In the dock at the bottom of your Planner, search for and select a timezone.
Remove a timezone
To remove a timezone:
- In the upper-left corner of your Planner, click the timezone.
- Select Remove.
Customize your Planner's settings
To open your Planner's settings, click the settings icon in the upper-right corner of your Planner or Personal Calendar The settings menu includes the following pages:
- Appearance
- Accounts
- Upcoming meetings
- Time blocking
- AI Notetaker
Appearance
The table below shows all customization options in the Appearance section of your Planner's settings:

| Event style | Choose between the subtle and solid styles. |
| Time block style | Choose how your time blocks are displayed in the grid. |
| Start week on | Choose to start your week on Sunday or Monday. |

Accounts
The table below shows all customization options in the Accounts section of your Planner's settings:
| Option | Description |
| Remove account | To remove a connected calendar, click the ellipsis ... icon to the right of the calendar and select Remove account. |
| Add account | Add a new calendar to your Planner. |
| Default calendar | Select the default calendar that opens. |
| Conferencing | Set up a video conferencing integration or remove your current one. |
Upcoming meetings
The table below shows all customization options in the Upcoming meetings section of your Planner's settings:
| Option | Description |
| Show time left | Show the time left in the current meeting rather than the time until the next. |
| Show in desktop | Show upcoming meetings in your computer's menu bar on Mac or system tray on PC. |
Time blocking
The table below shows all customization options in the Time blocking section of your Planner's settings:
| Option | Description |
| Show tasks assigned to me with due date |
Display tasks that are due directly below their due date. |
| Personalization | Create a custom prefix for tasks created in your Planner. |
| Working schedule | Customize your working hours. When using AI Time-Blocking, times outside your working hours will not be recommended. |
AI Notetaker
The table below shows all customization options in the AI Notetaker section of your Planner's settings:

| Auto-scheduling | Select the primary calendars you want AI Notetaker to automatically join. |
