Authorize the Planner's access to Microsoft 365

Authorize ClickUp's Planner for your Workspace. 

What you'll need

  • You must be a Microsoft admin to enable admin consent requests and approve scopes.
  • The Planner is available on every ClickUp plan.

Authorize Planner using admin consent requests

If you have admin consent requests activated in Azure, users given permission to do so may authorize Planner once someone in your organization has requested access.

To approve a consent request:

  1. Open Azure. 
  2. Navigate to Admin consent requests and select ClickUp.

  3. At the top of the Details sidebar, click Review permissions and consent.

  4. Sign in to your account by following the prompts.

Authorize Planner without admin consent requests

If you have admin consent requests deactivated, a Microsoft admin can manually approve the necessary scopes after adding ClickUp to your Enterprise applications:

  1. Open Azure.
  2. Navigate to Enterprise applications.

  3. Search for the app using Application ID dbaf1972-fb78-4b27-b943-be6f58e058d0.
  4. Select the ClickUp app.
  5. Open the Security page and select Permissions

  6. Approve the scopes listed below.
Scope Purpose
Calendars.ReadWrite Allows the app to read and write to calendars owned by self
Calendars.ReadWrite.Shared

Allows the app to create, read, update, and delete events in all calendars in the organization that the user has permissions to access. This includes delegated and shared calendars.

This scope is optional.
