Ask AI about a task

Use Ask AI to manage your tasks. 

To use Ask AI in a task:

• Open a task. If you see a banner below the task name you can do the following:
  • To open one of the four specific features click: create a summary, generate and update, find similar tasks, or ask about this task. 
    
  • To see all the features, hover to the far right and click the x icon to close the banner. Then, above the task name click the Ask AI button. Click the button, not the dropdown icon on the right side of the button.
• If you don't see a banner below the task name, you can do the following:
  • To see all the features, click the Ask AI button, not the dropdown icon on the right side of the button.
  • If you'd like to use the banner interface again, click the dropdown icon to the right of the Ask AI button. 
    

Find similar and duplicate tasks

To find similar and duplicate tasks:

1. In an open task above the title, click Ask AI and from the task modal, select Find similar tasks. Or from the banner below the title, select find similar tasks. 
2. The AI modal opens and generates the following info:
   • AI identifies the current open task as the primary task. 
   • Below the primary task, duplicate tasks are listed. 
   • Then similar tasks are listed. 
     
3. After the content is generated, you have the following choices:
   • + Create: Create a task or Doc from the generated content.
   • Copy: Copy the text to manually paste it into another location. You can also manually copy any part of the generated text.
   • Regenerate: Generate the response again.

Find tasks that are stuck

This feature identifies all tasks in a List without updates or discussions in the last 15 days.

To find tasks that are stuck:

1. From an open List view in the upper-right corner, click Ask AI.
2. After the content is generated, you have the following choices:
   • + Create: Create a task or Doc from the generated content.
   • Copy: Copy the text to manually paste it into another location. You can also manually copy any part of the generated text.
   • Regenerate: Generate the response again.
