Use Brain to generate a subtask

You can create Brain-generated subtasks from open tasks. The task must have at least a name. 

The content is generated using various info from the task description and comments. 

  1. In a task, scroll down to the Subtasks section.
  2. In the upper-right corner of the Subtasks section, click Suggest
  3. The following actions are optional:
    • Click the subtask name to edit it.
    • In the upper-right corner of the Subtasks table, click the plus icon to add a column. After adding columns, you can edit task properties, like status or date created. 
  4. To delete a suggestion, to the right of the subtask name, click the checkbox.
  5. Click Accept.

Use Brain to create subtasks from the task description

AI can create one or more subtasks from highlighted text in the task description.

You can use Brain to create subtasks from task comments.

From the Brain icon

To create one or more subtasks from a task comment from the Brain icon:

  1. Hover over a comment.
  2. Click the Brain icon.
  3. Select Create subtasks.

From the comment settings menu

To create one or more subtasks from a task comment from comment settings menu:

  1. Hover over a task comment.
  2. In the upper-right corner, click the ellipsis ... icon.
  3. Click Create subtask(s) with AI.
