Customize your task experience on mobile!

What you'll need

  • Tasks are available on every ClickUp plan.
  • Everyone, including guests with edit or full permissions, can use tasks and subtasks in the mobile app.
  • Changes to task tabs and details are only visible to the person who made them.

Add a tab to your tasks

By default, tasks are split into the Details and Activities sections. You can add a third tab for subtasks, checklists, Custom Fields, attachments, or Relationships.

To add a third tab to all tasks in your Workspace:

  1. Open a task.
  2. In the upper-right corner, tap the ellipsis ... menu
  3. Select Layout.
  4. In the Tabs section, tap Add tab.

  5. Select one of the following to add it as a tab to your tasks:
    • Subtasks
    • Checklist
    • Custom fields
    • Attachments
    • Relationships
  6. In the upper-right corner, tap Done.

Reorder task details

To reorder task details for all tasks in your Workspace:

  1. Open a task.
  2. In the upper-right corner, tap the ellipsis ... menu
  3. Select Layout.
  4. In the Reorder task details section, tap and drag task details up or down to reorder them.

  5. In the upper-right corner, tap Done.
