Create reminders on mobile

With the ClickUp mobile app, you can create and edit reminders from anywhere!

Reminders are available on every ClickUp Plan to all user roles. 

You cannot recover deleted reminders. 

Reminders can be created in Offline Mode.

Create a reminder on mobile

Create reminders from anywhere using the mobile app!

Your reminders only exist in the Workspace you created them.

Instructions may differ for tablets.

To create a reminder on the mobile app:

  1. Open the Create menu.
  2. At the bottom of Home, Inbox, My Tasks, or any page accessible from the More menu, tap the plus icon.
  3. Tap Reminder.

  4. Name your reminder.

    Add a relevant URL to the reminder name to quickly navigate to it from Home!

  5. Customize your reminder:
    • Due date: Tap the calendar icon to set a due date for the reminder. It is set to today by default. If you want your reminder to repeat, you can set it to recur by tapping Add recurring after selecting a due date.
    • Notify me: Tap the calendar icon to set a due date for the reminder. It is set to today by default

    • Attachments: Tap the paperclip icon to add related files to your reminder.

      There is a 1 GB file size limit for attachments.

  6. Tap Create.

You can also create reminders using Siri.

Snooze or unsnooze a reminder

You can snooze or unsnooze a reminder from your Inbox on the mobile app.

Reminders that are due today can be accessed from the Primary tab in your Inbox. Reminders that are due in the future can be accessed from the Later tab in your Inbox. 

To snooze or unsnooze a reminder on the mobile app:

  1. Open your Inbox.
  2. Swipe left on the reminder and tap the snooze icon.

  3. Choose a new due date and time or tap Unsnooze.

Complete a reminder on mobile

To complete a reminder on the mobile app:

  1. Open your Inbox.
  2. Swipe all the way left on the reminder.

Use legacy reminders on mobile

Reminders created in ClickUp 3.0 are referred to as legacy reminders. You will not be notified of them in your Inbox and they will be shared across your Workspaces.

To access or create legacy reminders on the mobile app:

  1. Open My Tasks.
  2. Select Reminders.

Scroll through your existing legacy reminders or create a new one by tapping Create Reminder at the bottom.

You will be notified of reminders in your Inbox.
