Portfolio cards

The Portfolio card is a custom Dashboard card that lets you categorize and track the progress of tasks in your Workspace.

Get a high level overview by selecting one or more Folders for your Portfolio card. You can also select one or more Lists to report on specific projects.

Or, include both Folders and Lists to see progress for all of your organization's projects.

Members and guests who do not have access to the Spaces, Folders, and Lists displayed in a Portfolio card will only see the items they have permission to access. If they don't have access to any items shown in the card, it appears empty.

Add a Portfolio card

To add a Portfolio card:

  1. Create a new or open an existing Dashboard.
  2. In the upper right corner, click + Add card
  3. From the left sidebar, select Custom.
  4. Click Portfolio card.
  5. Configure your card settings.
  6. In the upper-right, click Add card.

Edit a Portfolio card

Hover over a Portfolio card to:

  • Edit quick settings, including card filters.
  • Click the settings cog to edit card settings.

Remove a List from a Portfolio card

On the far right of each List, click the ellipsis and select Remove from portfolio to remove the List from your Portfolio card.

Portfolio card table

The Portfolio card displays a table. Each row represents a List in the selected locations.

In the upper-right corner, click the plus icon to choose which columns to display.

The following table describes the available columns on Portfolio cards:

Column name Description
Color Show List colors.
Calculation Create a custom calculation for each List that only exists on this Dashboard card. You can select specific statuses to include. You can only calculate the Date, Money, or Number Custom Fields. You can display the range of Dates and calculate the sum, average, and range of Money and Number Custom Fields.
Statuses Display a color-coded bar with the number of tasks in each status for each List.
Progress Display a progress bar with a count of the number of completed and outstanding tasks. This progress bar includes tasks in both Done and Complete statuses.
Done Display the total number of tasks in a Done or Complete status.
Due Display the total number of tasks where the due date was earlier than today and the task status is not Done or Closed.
Start

Display the start date set at the List level. See List Info for more detail.

This column is only available for Lists.

End

Display the due date set at the List level. See List Info for more detail.

This column is only available for Lists.

Priority

Display priority set at the List level. See List Info for more detail.

This column is only available for Lists.

Owner

Display the owner set at the List level. See List Info for more detail.

This column is only available for Lists.

Time estimated

Display the total time estimated for tasks in each List. This includes time estimated from Done and Complete tasks.

This column is only available for Lists.

Points

Display the total number of Sprint Points for the List. This includes Sprint Points from Done and Completed tasks.

This column is only available for Lists.

Milestones

Display the Milestone icon if the List contains any Milestones in it. Hover over or click on the icon to see the names of the Milestone tasks.

This column is only available for Lists.

Time tracked

Display total time tracked for all tasks in the List. This includes tasks in Done and Completed statuses.

This column is only available for Lists.

Time remaining

Display the difference between time estimated and time tracked for all tasks in each List. This includes tasks in Done and Completed statuses.

This column is only available for Lists.

Portfolio card settings

Choose the locations and tasks to include in your Portfolio card.

The following table describes the available card settings:

Include Subtasks Include subtasks from the selected locations.
