Set your preferred date and time formats for your Workspace. These changes are made at the account level and will not affect the time and date settings of other users in your Workspace.
Language, region, time, and date settings are available on every ClickUp Plan to all user roles.
Change language and region settings
To update your Workspace language and region settings:
- In the upper-right corner, click your personal avatar.
- Click Settings.
- On the My Settings page, in the Language & Region section:
- Select your preferred language.
- Set the timezone for your account.
Language and ClickUp Brain AI
ClickUp Brain AI will respond to you in your selected language by default. If you prompt it in another language, it will reply in that language.
For example, your preferred language is English. When you ask Brain a question, it replies in English. When you ask a question in Spanish, Brain will reply in Spanish.
You can also use Brain to translate content for you.
Notify me of timezone changes
By default, ClickUp will prompt you to update your time zone if your device has moved to a different time zone.
You can deactivate this at any time by unchecking Notify me of Timezone changes.
Change time and date format
To update your Workspace time and date settings:
- In the upper-right corner, click your personal avatar.
- Click Settings.
- In the Time & Date format section, update the following:
- Start of the calendar week: Adjust all of the Calendar views in your Workspace to use a specified day as the start of the week.
- Time format: Change the time format for your Workspace.

Date format: Set your preferred date formatting for your Workspace.
- If a task's start date or due date is in the current year, the month and day display, not the year.
