Learn how to create a Super Agent with our no-code builder.

Use the Agent

If you contact the Agent in a location containing the required info, it will use that context.

You can also:

  • DM the Agent.
  • In a Chat Channel message or task comment, @mention the Agent.
  • Assign the Agent to a task.

Required info

Provide this information in your triggering message, comment, or task:

  • The Lists, tasks, or Docs that outline the client engagement, or the client’s name.
  • If the Agent isn’t provided with this info, it will prompt you to paste or link the Lists, tasks, or Docs, or to type the client’s name.
  • If only a client name is provided, it will search the Workspace for matching Lists, tasks, and Docs, share the top results, and ask you to confirm.

The Agent's data sources

These are the locations where the Agent is instructed to look for the info it needs to do its job:

  • Lists, tasks, Docs, or a client name provided to the Agent.
  • If only a client name is provided, it will search the Workspace for Lists, tasks, and Docs whose titles or content match that name. It will post these and ask the requester which ones to include.
    • If it doesn't find anything, the Agent will post again, asking the requester for sources or the client's name.

The Agent's response

The Agent will respond with a status report, where it was triggered using this template:

  1. Completed Milestones – items whose status is Done or Complete
  2. Work in Progress – active items including owner and due date
  3. Upcoming & At-Risk – remaining deliverables ordered by due date, flagged as Overdue or Due in the next 7 days
  4. Blockers / Delays – tasks in a blocked status or notes of delays from comments

After posting the report, the Agent will ask if you want to save the snapshot to a Doc or post the update to a specific task.
