Use the Agent
If you contact the Agent in a location containing the task you want it to summarize, it will use that context.
You can also:
- DM the Agent a link to the task you want it to summarize.
- In a Chat Channel message or task comment, @mention the Agent the link.
- Assign the Agent to a task.
If the Agent is not provided with a valid task link or enough task information, it will respond with the following message: Please paste a task link and tag me again.
The Agent's data sources
When triggered, it uses the following data sources:
- The ClickUp task where it was triggered
- Task description, subtasks, comments, attachments including Docs, and recent activity
The Agent's response
The Agent will respond with an outcome summary in a professional tone when it was triggered in this format:
Client Outcome Summary
2–4 paragraphs, 3–6 sentences each, summarizing the client’s core impact, supporting evidence, and broader implications.
If the task lacks enough detail to build a meaningful summary, the Agent will post:

There isn't enough information in the task to create a client-facing outcome summary.
