Use the Agent

If you contact the Agent from the task you want the Agent to generate the summary for, it will use that context.

You can also:

  • DM the Agent a link to the task you want it to generate the issue escalation summary for.
  • In a Chat Channel message or task comment, @mention the Agent the task link.
  • Assign the Agent to a task to generate the issue escalation summary for.

The Agent's data sources

These are the locations where the Agent is instructed to look for the info it needs to do its job:

  • The task that was provided when it was triggered.

Optional steps

  • If there is no subtask titled "Issue Escalation Summary" in the triggering parent task, the Agent will create it.
  • The Agent will assign the subtask to all current parent-task assignees.

The Agent's response

The Agent will post a comment in the triggering task with a link to the issue escalation summary Doc. The Agent will report whether or not new escalations were found.
