Project Status Summarizer

The Project Status Summarizer creates a concise, dated status update documenting project progress, wins, and blockers to improve stakeholder visibility and decision-making.

Use the Agent

If you contact the Agent in a task from the project List or the single task you want summarized, it will use that context.

You can also:

  • DM the Agent with a link to the project task or List you want summarized.
  • In a Chat Channel message or task comment, @mention the Agent with the Link.
  • Assign the Agent to a task to summarize.
    • If triggered in Chat or DM without a task or List link, the Agent scans only the current thread for links.
      • If it can't identify a link, it asks you to paste the correct link before proceeding.
    • If there are multiple task or List links, the Agent asks you which one is correct.

The Agent's data sources

These are the locations where the Agent is instructed to look for the info it needs to do its job:

  • The last 2 weeks of activity in the tasks provided, and those tasks' subtasks and linked tasks.
  • The last 2 weeks of activity in the epic-level tasks in the provided List, and those tasks' subtasks and linked tasks.

Optional steps

The Agent will look for a Doc titled "Status Summary Updates."

  • If the Doc does not exist, the Agent will create it and add the first dated update page.
  • If the Doc exists, the Agent will create a new dated page without altering previous pages.

The Agent's response

The Agent will respond where it was triggered with a task comment containing the link to the generated Status Summary Updates page.

The page will use this format:

Page Content (Status Update – <trigger date>)

  1. Overview
  2. Key Wins
  3. Current Blockers
  4. Next Steps
  5. References (only the tasks actually loaded)
