Manage your Super Agent from its profile. You can view a Super Agent's activity or update its profile at any time.
From the profile, you can configure or reconfigure its instructions, triggers, tools, knowledge, and memory. You can edit its default privacy, permissions, and sharing. And you can test it, deactivate, or delete it.

To use Super Agents, you'll need to use ClickUp 4.0 and activate the AI ClickApp for your Workspace.
If you want to interact with Super Agents via Chat, you'll need to activate the Chat ClickApp.
Open a Super Agent's profile
Once a Super Agent has been created, you can view or edit its profile at any time. You can edit any Super Agent you've created or that you have Can manage permissions for. Learn more about permissions in the next section of this article.
A Super Agent's profile can be opened from the AI Hub or by clicking the Super Agent's avatar in a task comment, Chat message, or DM.
To open a Super Agent's profile from the AI Hub:
- Open the AI Hub and browse or filter for the Super Agent.
To open a Super Agent's profile from a task comment, Chat message, or DM:
- From the open comment or message, click the Super Agent's avatar.
- The profile will open in a sidebar.
Super Agent profile layout
The Super Agent's profile is organized into left and right sidebars and three tabs.
The left side is the natural-language builder. The right side is where you can manually configure the Super Agent's instructions, triggers, tools, knowledge, and memory.

- Agent: View and manage the details and configuration of the Super Agent.
- Activity: Quickly access the Super Agent's Audit Log and review its recent activity.
- Tasks: View tasks assigned to the Super Agent, in similar sections as the My Work card from My Tasks.

Manage a Super Agent's privacy, sharing, and permissions
A Super Agent's privacy, sharing, and permissions can only be edited by users with Can manage permissions.
Privacy settings
Super Agents are public by default unless the person who created it gave it access to a private location or a personal connection, like Gmail.
To make a public Super Agent private or public:
- In the Super Agent's profile, in the upper-right corner, click Share.
- If the Super Agent is private, the button will be labeled Private.
- In the Share modal, at the bottom, click Make Private or Make Public.
Sharing settings
Super Agents are shared with all members and admins by default. This means they can see Super Agents in any location they can access.
To edit Super Agent sharing settings:
- In the Super Agent's profile, in the upper-right corner, click Share.
- If the Super Agent is private, the button will be labeled Private.
- If the Super Agent is not already private, in the Share modal, click Make Private. This removes access from everyone but you.
- Click Invite.
- Click the toggle to select people or Teams.
- Click the Can manage dropdown and select Can trigger if you do not want the person to have Can manage permission.
- Click the Can manage dropdown and select Can trigger if you do not want the person to have Can manage permission.
Permissions settings
By default, all members and admins have Can manage permissions for all public Super Agents. You can edit this for each user.
Guests and limited members can't trigger Super Agents. They can see Super Agents in locations that they have access to.
To give individual users Super Agent permissions:
- In the Super Agent's profile, in the upper-right corner, click Share.
- In the Share modal, under Share with, click the dropdown.
- Select one of these permissions:

Can trigger: Allows users to assign the Super Agent a task, DM it, or mention it in a task comment or Chat message.
Assigning tasks, mentioning, or direct messaging are Super Agent triggers. Triggers are set when creating a Super Agent and are the signal that it's time for them to do their job. - Can manage: Allows users to trigger, edit, and delete the Super Agent.

Can trigger: Allows users to assign the Super Agent a task, DM it, or mention it in a task comment or Chat message.
Default user role permission
By default, all members and admins can create Super Agents. This is a Workspace-level permission that can't be edited on Unlimited and Business Plans.
On Business Plus and Enterprise Plans, this is a Custom Role Permission that can be edited.
Customize your Super Agent's avatar, name, and description
To customize a Super Agent's avatar:
- In the Super Agent's profile, hover over the Super Agent's avatar.
- Click the pencil icon.
- In the Gallery tab, select a new avatar. Or, click the Upload tab and upload an image.
To edit a Super Agent's name or description:
- In the Super Agent's profile, under the Super Agent's avatar, click into the name or description field.
- Type a new name or description.
Deactivate, activate, or delete a Super Agent
After creating a Super Agent, it is automatically activated. People with Can manage permission can deactivate, activate, or delete a Super Agent at any time.
- Activated: If a Super Agent is activated, it can be triggered and perform its job in your Workspace.
- Deactivated: If a Super Agent is deactivated, it is temporarily paused. Its actions remain in the Super Agent audit log, and its comments remain visible.

Deleted: Deleted Super Agents will no longer be triggered. Their existing comments will remain visible.
Before deleting, consider deactivating the Super Agent to pause it temporarily.
To open the deactivate, activate, or delete menu:
- In the Super Agent's profile, under the Super Agent's avatar, click the ellipsis... menu.
- On the Super Agent's page in the AI Hub, in Gallery view, hover over the avatar and click the ellipsis... menu.
- On the Super Agent's page in the AI Hub, in List view, hover to the right of the last column and click the ellipsis... menu.
Copy a Super Agent's URL
You can share a Super Agent via URL with anyone who has Can manage permission for that Super Agent.
To copy a Super Agent's URL:
- In the Super Agent's profile, under the Super Agent's avatar, click the ellipsis... menu.
- Select Copy URL.
View a Super Agent's audit log
View the activity of all the Super Agents in your Workspace for troubleshooting and audit purposes.
To view a Super Agent's audit log:
- In the Super Agent's profile, click the Activity tab.
- Click View Audit Logs.
- The Super Agent must be activated to see its audit log
View a Super Agent's tasks
If a Super Agent has the Assign task trigger activated, there will be a Tasks tab in its profile.
- In the Super Agent's profile, under the Super Agent's avatar, select the Tasks tab.
- The Super Agent's tasks tab contains the same info as My Tasks, except that they can't create or be assigned reminders.
