Use external AI models from Brain

By default, Brain is set to ChatGPT 5.4 optimized for ClickUp. 

To use external AI models:

  1. From the toolbar, open Brain.
  2. At the top of the model, click the Brain dropdown. 
  3. Select one of the available models.

    • After the AI responds, you can type in the prompt field to provide more direction or ask something new.

OpenAI

You can select from several OpenAI models. Available models vary by location:
