Analyze a spreadsheet

You can either give ClickUp AI the spreadsheet link or use Connected Search.

Learn how to use ClickUp AI to search your connected apps. For example, you can use Connected Search to analyze the spreadsheets in your team's connected Google Drive. 

Use a spreadsheet link

Analyze your spreadsheet by manually pasting a link into ClickUp AI. 

To paste a link into ClickUp AI:

1. Open Brain from the toolbar or a location header. 
   • If your Workspace is on ClickUp 4.0, you can access the AI Hub.
2. In the prompt field, paste the spreadsheet link and ask your question. For example: Analyze docs.google.com/myspreadsheet to summarize positive community sentiment from last month's Reddit posts. You can also click the plus icon in the lower-left corner of the prompt field to attach the file.
3. After AI responds, you have the following choices:
   • Copy: Copy the text to paste it manually into another location.
   • Create task: Create a task using the content.
   • Create Doc: Create a Doc using the content.
   • Retry: Get a different response from the prompt.
   • Like or Dislike: Click Like or Dislike to help us improve ClickUp AI.
   • Follow ups: Select one of Brain Assistant's next steps.
   • Tell AI what to do next: Give AI more direction or ask AI something new.
