What AI Credits power
AI Credits power automatic AI features like Super Agents, Autopilot Agents, Artifacts, AI Fields, and more.
Brain usage and AI Credit consumption are tracked separately. Credit-consuming features use AI Credits even when started in a Brain conversation. For example, generating an Artifact uses AI Credits. Learn more about ClickUp Brain availability and limits.
AI Credit consumption varies by feature, model used, context size, reasoning level, and actions performed. AI Credits are not counted as one credit per request. A single workflow can run several credit-consuming actions. Every Super Agent run consumes credits, even when the Super Agent only returns an answer.
Once your Workspace credits are consumed, AI credit features are paused. You can purchase AI Credits or upgrade your Workspace to get more usage.
AI Credits on new plans
Each paid plan below includes a monthly AI Credit allowance based on your Workspace's billed seats. Credits are shared across your Workspace and reset on the first of each month. Unused credits do not roll over.
The following AI Credit allowances apply:

| Core | 1,000 credits per seat per month |
| Business | 1,500 credits per seat per month |
| Business Plus | 2,000 credits per seat per month |
| Enterprise | 3,000 credits per seat per month |
| Max | 10,000 credits per seat per month |
For new paid plans, you can purchase additional AI credits. The Brain AI and Everything AI add-ons are not available to purchase, since varying AI Credit allowances are included.
AI Credits on existing plans
The limits below apply to Workspaces that have not been upgraded to the new plans:
- Trial AI Credit limits by plan:
- Free Forever: 500 total credits per Workspace. This limit does not reset.
- Paid plans with no AI add-on: 1,000 credits per user. This limit does not reset.
- If your Workspace has an AI add-on:
- Brain add-on: 1,500 credits per user per month.
- Everything AI add-on: 5,000 credits per user per month.

The following features use AI Credits unless your plan includes unlimited usage:

Features listed as unlimited do not use AI Credits on that plan. For Workspaces on the new plans who have an AI Notetaker add-on, AI Notetaker will consume hours, instead of credits.
