Workspace owners and admins choose which AI models the Workspace can use and which user roles can use each one. A model that's off on the AI Models page stays blocked for everyone, even people with their own per-person model settings.
Feature availability and limits vary by plan and user role. Learn more
You must be a Workspace owner or admin to open AI settings.
Open AI Models
To open AI Models:
- In the upper-left corner, click your Workspace avatar.
- Select Settings.
- In the All settings sidebar, under AI, click AI Models.
When AI Models opens, you'll be viewing the Models section with the Workspace's Text models grouped by provider. Each row shows the model's speed and cost ratings, which Workspace roles can use it, and whether it's on. Premium models carry a Premium tag.
Turn a model or provider on or off
To turn one model on or off, click its switch in the Enabled column.
To turn every model from one provider on or off, click the switch at the right end of the provider's row. The row shows how many of its models are on, such as 5 of 5 enabled.
To see only the models that are on or off, click Enabled or Disabled above the list. To hide every provider's models, click Collapse all at the right end of that row. It then reads Expand all.
Show image, video, or audio models
To show another type of model, click Image, Video, or Audio in the upper-right corner of the Models section. Each type has the same columns and switches as Text.
Limit a model to certain roles
To limit which Workspace roles can use a model:
- In the model's row, click All roles in the Allowed Workspace Roles column.
- In the Allowed workspace roles menu, uncheck any role that can't use the model:
- Admins
- Members
- Guests
- Limited members
All means every role, including roles added later.
To set models for specific people instead, click Go to People at the bottom of the menu, or read Manage ClickUp AI access for roles and people.
The model picker only shows models that are on for your Workspace and role.
