View relationships in task view 4.0
There are two ways to view relationships in task view 4.0:
- In the Relationships section.
- In the Relationships page in the right sidebar.
Relationships section
In task view 4.0, relationships are displayed in a dedicated task section below the task description.
In the relationships section, tabs are displayed once a relationship is added.
For example, if a task has no dependencies, the Dependencies tab is not displayed.
Relationship tabs
The following table describes the relationships displayed on each tab:

You can add columns to the relationships section to show details from related tasks.
View relationships in full screen mode
To view relationships in full screen mode, from the relationships section:
- In the upper-right, click the full screen button.
Dependencies section
Dependencies are also displayed in a dedicated section above the task description.
Relationships page in the right sidebar
In task view 4.0, you can view and add relationships, including references, from the right sidebar.
- In the right sidebar, click the Relationships icon.
- From the Relationships tab:
- In the upper-right corner, click the plus icon to add related items.
- View the related tasks, Docs, and items from Custom Relationships.
- From the References tab:
- View tasks and Docs that have mentioned this task.
Create relationships in task view 4.0
There are several ways to create relationships from tasks.

In task view 3.0, relationships are displayed in the right sidebar.
The tabs displayed vary based on:
- The ClickApps enabled for your Workspace and the Space where the task exists.
- If the task has been related to other items.
- For example, if the task is not related to any Docs, the Doc Links tab will not be displayed.
