Resource management involves effectively organizing and overseeing business resources like assets, finances, and workforce to achieve optimal results quickly. Use these features to enhance your resource management efforts!

Timeline view

Plan your work over time, schedule overdue tasks, and effectively visualize roadmaps by grouping tasks in the Timeline view.

Schedule overdue or unscheduled tasks using the Tasks sidebar on the right. If you don't see it, click the collapsed sidebar on the right to expand it.

Group tasks by assignee to view individual workloads or by priority to identify overlapping tasks:

  1. In the upper-right, click the Group button.
  2. Select a grouping option.

Workload view

Visualize your team's work and capacity over time using Workload view. Keep everyone engaged and balance all the work across your team every day, week, or month.

Dashboards

Sprint cards provide scrum masters or product managers with insights to plan sprints and assess team workload, capacity, and task progression.

Dashboard cards are another great way to manage resources, providing insights into sprints, projects, people, statuses, and more. The following Dashboard cards are ideal for resource management:

  • Tasks by Assignee: This card displays the number of tasks per assignee at the Space, Folder, or List level. You can filter by assignee, priority, tags, and more for detailed resource insight.

To set up a Custom Bar, Pie, or Battery chart:

  1. Use the assignee on the x-axis for Bar and Battery charts. Group by the assignee for Pie charts.
  2. Choose a workload type that best fits your needs for analysis. Use the number of tasks, hours estimated, scrum points, or any other Custom Field you have set up!

Manage workload in Team view

Use Team view to manage resources visually. With the workload chart that is available on our Business Plan and above, you can easily see who is available for more tasks and who might be overloaded.

You can measure resource workload and capacity based on:

Show tasks without time estimates

If the Time Estimates ClickApp is enabled, you can identify tasks lacking estimates for each assignee. Quickly add estimates to better gauge workloads by clicking the time estimates icon in the lower-right corner of someone's card.

Profiles 

Access individual workload details using Profiles.

Click a person's avatar to view their Profile, including recently completed tasks, current tasks, and future tasks.
