Use the Agent

If you contact the Agent in the location containing the required info, it will use that context.

You can also:

  • DM the Agent.
  • In a Chat Channel message or task comment, @mention the Agent.
  • Assign the Agent to a task.

Required info

  • The new hire's job title and goals.
    • If the Agent is provided a job title but no goals, it will:
      • Search the web for typical role goals or success metrics.
      • Use that info to suggest example goals.
    • If the Agent isn't provided a job title, it will respond:
      • “What is the new hire’s job title? Any specific goals for them?”

The Agent's data sources

These are the locations where the Agent is instructed to look for the info it needs to do its job:

  • If the Agent is triggered by a DM or @mention in a Chat Channel message or task comment, it uses the message content and the referenced location.
  • If the Agent is triggered by being assigned to a task, it uses the task title and description.

Optional steps

The Agent will ask whether it should create a task and which List. If a task is created, the 30/60/90 Plan will be posted in the task description.
