Use the Agent

If you contact the Agent in the location containing the required info, it will use that context.

You can also:

  • DM the Agent.
  • In a Chat Channel message or task comment, @mention the Agent.
  • Assign the Agent to a task.

Required info

  • The subject the training plan should cover.
    • Optional: A task to host the training Doc.
    • Optional: A preferred location for creating a task if a task doesn’t exist.
  • If the Agent isn’t provided with the required topic, it will ask: “What topic should the training cover?”

The Agent's data sources

These are the locations where the Agent is instructed to look for the info it needs to do its job:

  • If the Agent is triggered by a DM or @mention in a Chat Channel message or task comment, it uses the message content and the referenced location.
  • If the Agent is triggered by a task, it uses context from the task and its attachments.
  • Web search results for the topic using current, authoritative sources.

Optional steps

The Agent will ask whether it should create a task if one doesn't exist.

The Agent's response

The Agent will respond where it was triggered with a link to the training plan Doc using this template:

  • H1 Title
  • Overview – brief paragraph
  • Learning Objectives – bulleted list
  • Expected Outcomes – bulleted list
  • Main Modules – numbered list
    • Create 3–5 main modules (or more if research indicates)
    • For each main module, include 3–5 sub-points (key concepts, activities, or topics)
  • Success Measures & Assessment – bulleted list
  • Recommended Resources – linked list of gathered URLs
