Configure your default settings for Sprint Folders and Sprint Subfolders

You can configure default sprint settings for all the Sprint Folders and Sprint Subfolders in your Workspace, then customize settings for each Sprint Folder and each Sprint Subfolder.

Your organization's sprints can be aligned to use the same methodology by default, while allowing individual teams to customize how they run their sprints.

Configure default settings for Sprint Folders and Sprint Subfolders

You can customize your default settings for Sprint Folders and Sprint Subfolders. These options apply by default to all newly created Sprint Folders and Sprint Subfolders in your Workspace.

We recommend only editing the default settings here once. Changes are applied to all new sprints. Existing sprints will not be updated.

To edit the default settings for Sprint Folders and Sprint Subfolders.

  1. Open ClickApps.
  2. Search Sprints.
  3. Click Manage sprint settings.
  4. Configure your default settings for Sprint Folders and Sprint Subfolders.
  5. Click Save.

Available default settings for Sprint Folders and Sprint Subfolders

The following table describes the available options for Sprint Folders and Sprint Subfolders:

Setting Description
Sprint name

Set a default name for your sprints. 

  • Sprint name must include {INDEX} to name your sprints sequentially.
  • You can include the start and end dates, for example: ({START_DATE} - {END_DATE}).
Default template Apply a default List template to all newly created sprints.
Sprint duration Select how long each sprint will take. You can also use a custom duration.
Date format Choose the date format for your sprints.
Sprint start day (default) Select the day of the week when your sprints will start.
Non-working days

Select your non-working days. 

Non-working days are not listed as days where no work was completed in sprint reporting.

Measure of effort

Choose how your teams will measure effort in each sprint.

Dashboard view Automatically create a Dashboard view in each sprint to measure its progress. 
Forecast options

Choose how to confirm the forecast of work in each sprint.

Your sprint forecast is used by the Velocity, Burnup, and Burndown cards.

Default Sprint Automations for Sprint Folders and Sprint Subfolders

By default for all plans, When Sprint ends then Mark Sprint as Done is enabled and can't be disabled. 

There are no Automations you can configure as the default for Sprint Folders and Sprint Subfolders throughout your Workspace.

You can add and customize Sprint Automations at the Sprint Folder and Sprint Subfolder level.
