Enable time tracking

To start tracking time in ClickUp, an owner or admin must enable the Time Tracking ClickApp at the Workspace level or for individual Spaces.

Enable the Time Tracking ClickApp

To enable the Time Tracking ClickApp:

  1. In the upper-left corner, click your Workspace avatar.
  2. Select ClickApps.
  3. Browse or search for the Time Tracking ClickApp.
  4. Enable the Time Tracking ClickApp. You can use the dropdown menu to disable the ClickApp in specific Spaces.

  5. To make new time entries billable by default, click Default new time entries to billable.
