Activate time tracking

To start tracking time in ClickUp, an owner or admin must enable the Time Tracking ClickApp at the Workspace level or for individual Spaces.

Activate the Time Tracking ClickApp

To activate the Time Tracking ClickApp:

  1. Open the App Center.
  2. From the App Center's left sidebar, click All ClickApps.
  3. Browse or search for the Time Tracking ClickApp.
  4. Click the toggle to activate the Time Tracking ClickApp.
  5. You can use the dropdown menu to activate the ClickApp in specific Spaces.
  6. To make new time entries billable by default, click Default new time entries to billable.
