Ask Brain about attached files

You can ask Brain about up to 10 files, or 20mb at a time. Brain can also read scanned documents, images, tables, and other non-text content within PDFs and images.

To ask Brain about a file:

  1. Open Brain from a location overview or the toolbar, and drag and drop a file into the prompt field. You can also click the plus icon, then select Attach file and select a file from your device.
  2. Ask Brain about the file. For example: "Does this PDF include a privacy policy?"

Ask Brain about an email attachment

With a connected Gmail or Outlook Mail account, Brain can download an email attachment, analyze it, attach it to a task, a task comment, or a Doc, or send it in a new email.

To ask Brain about an email attachment:

  1. Open Brain and ask for the file by email subject or sender and say what you want. For example, Download the spreadsheet from the Q3 vendor email and total it by category.
  2. If the email has more than one attachment, select the file you want or click Both.

Brain downloads the attachment from your connected account and works with it in the chat.

To add the file to a task, a task comment, or a Doc, ask Brain to attach it. Check the file name, size, and destination, then click the confirm button, for example Attach file. You can also ask Brain to send the file in a new email. Brain asks you to confirm before it sends.

Brain can't download unsupported file types. Attachments up to 25 MB can be downloaded.

Super Agents with Gmail or Outlook Mail tools can also download email attachments.

  • Plain text files
