Custom Fields enable and improve workflow Automations, reporting, knowledge sharing, and more by adding important information to any marketing project or initiative and providing relevant information at a glance.
We recommend the following Custom Field types for marketing teams:
The Dropdown Custom Field gives you a list of options to choose from in a dropdown menu. You can use this field to display information such as:
- Marketing task type (e.g campaign, promotion, website)
- Primary marketing goal
- Asset format (e.g mov, png, jpeg)
- Asset resolution
- Asset aspect ratio
- Audience funnel (e.g Youtube, Instagram, website, Twitter)
- Blog category
- Social category
The People Custom Field allows you to select people and teams in your Workspace for each task.
You can use this field to select the person who submitted the marketing request, making it easier to follow up with the requester to understand more about the project request.
The Labels Custom Field gives you a flexible list of options, similar to the Dropdown Custom Field. You can use this field to select the marketing channel(s) for the task (e.g digital, social media, print, etc).
The Text Custom Field allows you to add a single line of text to display on any task. You can use this field to display information such as:
- Marketing task objective
- Target audience
With the Files Custom Field, you can upload files from your device or from cloud storage services. This field should be used anywhere that you store marketing assets such as the Asset Library List.
The Money Custom Field allows you to enter a formatted amount of money in any currency. You can use this field to display the following project information:
The Relationship Custom Field allows you to display any tasks that are linked to the one that you're working on. You can use this field to connect:
- Creative Projects
- Marketing assets
The Website Custom Field allows you to capture the URL of any website. You can use this field to display:
- Final asset link
- Published link
The Date Custom Field allows you to enter a custom date and time. You can use this field to record any important project dates.
The date and time format will match the date and time settings for the Workspace.
Progress (auto or manual)
The Progress Custom Field allows you to track the progress of a project or task. With the automatic Progress Custom Field, the completion of subtasks, checklists, and assigned comments is automatically tracked.
