Quickly upload files from anywhere on your iOS device into ClickUp without opening the app!

We are aware of an issue with Apple devices using iOS 14 where various apps are not shown as an option for sharing. This is not unique to our ClickUp mobile app, and may be fixed by Apple in a future update. Until then, you may need to restart your device to display all apps that have sharing activities enabled.

Share files to ClickUp

To share a file to ClickUp:

1. Tap the sharing icon to open the sharing menu.
2. Swipe through the apps until you see the More option.
   
3. Tap More to open the Apps modal.

4. Browse for and select ClickUp.

   To add ClickUp to your favorites, tap Edit, then tap the plus icon next to ClickUp. To prioritize ClickUp when sharing items on your device, tap and drag the drag handle to the right of ClickUp.

5. In the Create menu, choose how you want to share the file:
   • Chat message: Create a new draft with your file included.
     • This option only displays if the Chat ClickApp is activated in your Workspace.
   • Task: Create a new task with your file included.
   • Add to task: Add your file to an existing task.
   • Reminder: Create a new reminder with your file included.
   • Ask Brain: Send the attachment to Brain to get an AI-powered response.
6. Complete the remaining required and optional steps. Options vary depending on how you're sharing the file.
7. Tap the share or send icon.
