Set capacity limits in Workload view

Set limits for each person so everyone can visualize if they are over or under capacity. You can only set capacity limits when grouping by assignee.

Workspace members can set capacity for themselves. Admins and Workspace owners can set capacity for themselves and others.

Each person's capacity limit is applied to Workload views throughout your Workspace.

Workload capacity options

You can set different capacities for:
  • Each person with at least one assigned task.
  • Each method you use to measure your work.
  • Each day with the set daily capacity option.

    This option is only available on Business Plus or Enterprise Plans.

Set assignee capacity

To set capacity for an assignee:

  1. Next to the assignee's name on the left, click Set Capacity.
  2. Enter the assignee's capacity based on the selected measurement:
    • Time estimates: Use natural language to a set capacity limit in minutes, hours, days, weeks, or months. For example, 1h or 1d.
    • Tasks: Set a number of tasks.
    • Sprint points: Set a number of sprint points.
    • Custom Fields: Set a number.

    On Business Plus and Enterprise Plans, you can click Set Daily Capacity to set capacity limits for each day.

  3. To apply the same capacity limit to anyone else with tasks assigned to them, click the Apply for all checkbox.
  4. Click Save.
