Access Brain from a Channel

To access Brain from a Channel:

1. Open a Channel.
2. In the upper-right corner, click Brain to summarize recent activity, share the Channel, and more.

Access Brain from a draft

To access Brain from a message draft:

• From an empty draft, press Space.
• In a draft message, type @brain.
• In a draft message, type the /Slash Command /ai and select an AI feature. You can also click the plus icon in the lower-left corner of the field to open all /Slash Commands. 
• In a draft message, highlight some text and click Ask. Select an option to ask AI to help you edit or write. 

Access ClickUp Brain from a message

To access Brain from any sent message, hover over the message and select an option from the message toolbar: 

• Create task: Create a task from a message using Brain.
• Brain: Summarize the thread or message, ask Brain a question about it, and much more.

Access Brain from the details sidebar

To access Brain from the details sidebar:

1. Open a Channel or direct message.
2. In the floating sidebar in the upper-right, click Settings or the Settings icon.
3. Select AI.

Catch me up is only available if you have unread messages.

In the Catch me up modal, you have the following options:

Catch me up from: 

• Last 24 hours
• Last 2 days
• Last 3 days
• Last 7 days
• Last 14 days
  

Get caught up with Brain

If you haven't caught up on a Channel's messages recently, open the Channel and click Catch me up to generate a summary of everything you missed.

Send and assign messages with Brain

Ask Brain to send or assign messages. 

For example, you could message Brain: "Send a message in the Marketing Channel: Are we launching at 4pm PT?"
