Request access to private tasks on the mobile app!

When a private task is shared with you, you will need to request permission before you're able to view the task.

What you'll need

• Requesting access is available on every ClickUp plan.
• Only the task owner can approve access to a private task.

Request access on mobile

To request access to a private task on mobile:

1. Open the task link on your mobile device.
2. Tap Request Access.
   
3. Once the task owner has approved your request, you will be able to access the task.

Approve access

The task owner can approve access:

1. Open the task.
2. At the top, a banner will display with the name of the requester.
3. Tap Approve.
