Check for updates
Often, issues arise when your app is outdated. Check your ClickUp app for updates.
iOS
To check for ClickUp app updates on your Apple device:
- Open the App Store app.
- In the upper-right corner, tap your profile avatar.
- Swipe up to see your apps with available updates.
- If ClickUp has an available update, tap Update to the right.
Android
To check for ClickUp app updates on your Android device:
- Open the Play Store app.
- In the upper-right corner, tap your profile avatar.
- Select Manage apps & device.
- Select the Manage tab and select the ClickUp app.
- If ClickUp has an available update, tap Update to the right.
Log out and back in
If your app is up to date, logging out and back in to your ClickUp account can fix certain issues.
To log out of the ClickUp mobile app:
- In the upper-right corner, tap your personal avatar.
- Swipe to the bottom of the page and tap Logout.
- To confirm, tap Log out.
- Log back in to the app.
Clear cache and data
If problems persist, try clearing the ClickUp app cache and data.
iOS
On Apple devices, the only way to clear the ClickUp app's cache and data is by deleting and reinstalling the app.
Android
To clear the ClickUp app cache and data on your Android device:
- Open Settings.
- Select Apps.
- Tap See all apps.
- Tap the ClickUp app.
- Tap Storage & cache.
- Select Clear cache.
Delete and redownload the app
If all other troubleshooting options fail, delete and redownload the ClickUp mobile app.
iOS
To delete and redownload ClickUp on your Apple device:
- Delete the app.
- Open the App Store.
- Search for and download ClickUp.
Android
To delete and redownload ClickUp on your Android device:
- Delete the app.
- Open the Google Play Store.
- Search for and download ClickUp.
