People overview page in Teams Hub

Manage people who have been invited or joined your Workspace. The options available vary depending on your selected layout.

You can also manage people from the Workspace settings menu.

You can click on any person to open their Profile.

Find specific people

From the All people page, you can find specific people using the following options:

  • Search: Type in the name of a person.
  • Filter: Filter the people displayed on the page.
    • Status: Filter people by the following options:
      • All: Everyone is displayed.
      • Online: Only people who are online in your Workspace are displayed.
      • Offline: Only people who are not online in your Workspace are displayed.
    • Team: Filter people by team membership.
    • Account type: Filter by role: All, Admin, Member, Guest, Pending, or Limited Member. Pending includes people who were invited but have not yet joined your Workspace.
    • Manager: Filter people by their respective manager.
  • Sort: Sort people by the following options:
    • Default: People are displayed in the order they joined your Workspace from newest to oldest.
    • A-Z: Alphabetical ascending.
    • Z-A: Alphabetical descending.
    • Last joined: Display people in the order they joined your Workspace from newest to oldest.
    • First joined: Display people in the order they joined your Workspace from oldest to newest.
  • Layout: Switch between cards and a grid layout.
    • Cards: See each person as an individual card.
    • Grid: See everyone in a table.

Show additional columns

Additional columns for the All People table are visible in grid mode. 

To show additional columns:

  1. While in grid mode, in the upper-right corner, click the plus icon. 

  2. Toggle additional columns on or off.

    • Once the column is added to the table, you can drag and drop it to move it. 

Available columns

Some of these columns can be populated via SCIM, either using Okta or Microsoft Entra on Enterprise Plans only.

These are the columns available:

Column Description
Name

The person's name. 

Cannot be removed from the table.

Teams Show the Teams this person belongs to. 
Manager

The person's manager from the Select manager section of their Profile.

This attribute can also be populated via SCIM only for Workspaces on the Enterprise Plans. Other plans can manually populate this info.

Email The email set in the Profile section of My Settings.
Role The person's user role
User Status The person's user status from their Profile, including if they are online or offline. 
Date Joined The date the person joined the Workspace. 
Department

The Department column is gradually being released to all Enterprise Workspaces. This attribute is available in the API and can only be populated via SCIM. 

The person's department within the organization. 

Region

The Region column is gradually being released to all Enterprise Workspaces. This attribute is available in the API and can only be populated via SCIM. 

The geographic region where the person is based. 

Management Chain

The Management Chain column is gradually being released to all Enterprise Workspaces. This attribute is available in the API and can only be populated via SCIM. 

The chain of leadership the person operates under. 

Timezone  The timezone set in the Profile section of My Settings.
Direct Reports The people this person directly manages. 

Manage people

You can manage people from the people overview of Teams Hubs.

From the card layout:

  • Hover over a person's card and click the ellipsis menu.

From the grid layout:

  • On the right, click the ellipsis.

Options include:

  • Copy member ID: Copy the User ID to your clipboard.
  • Remove member: Remove the person from your Workspace.
  • Chat: Click the Chat icon to start a direct message conversation with anyone.
  • Get AI Update: If you are using AI, you can get an AI generated update for anyone.

The following options are available based on the person's user role:

  • Admin: Convert to member, or Convert to limited member.
  • Member: Set as Admin, Convert to limited member, or Convert to guest.
  • Limited member: Convert to member.
  • Guests: Convert to member or convert to limited member.
