What is AI StandUp?

Automate StandUps for yourself or other team members using Brain or a Super Agent. 

AI StandUp uses public task data. Private tasks will not be included.

Open StandUp

Opening these features differs depending on the location. Here are some of the locations where you can write a StandUp:

From anywhere in ClickUp that accepts /Slash Commands

To open StandUp using AI Slash Commands:

1. Type the /Slash command /ai to display the full AI menu.
2. Select Write StandUp. 
   

From your Profile

To open StandUp and updates from your Profile:

1. Open your Profile.
2. Click Get StandUp. 

From a Super Agent or Brain

To ask a Super Agent or Brain to create a StandUp for yourself or another team member: 

• Direct message or @mention a Super Agent in a Chat or task comment asking it to write a StandUp.
• Open Brain and ask it to write a StandUp. 

From My Tasks

Use the StandUp card in My Tasks to create a recurring summary of your own recent activity. From My Tasks, you cannot create a StandUp for other people. 

Customize StandUps

After opening StandUp, customize it.

Select people or Teams

To select a person or Team:

1. In the StandUp modal, click the People or Teams dropdown. 
2. Select up to 20 people individually or Teams with a cumulative amount of 20 people. 

Choose a time period

To select a different time period:

1. In the StandUp modal, click the Time period dropdown.
2. Select a new time period.
   

Recurring StandUps

If you'd like a recurring StandUp, set it up in My Tasks.
