Add and plan future sprints

Add sprints to your Sprint Folder or Sprint Subfolder, and plan your future work.

Add sprints to a Sprint Folder or Sprint Subfolder

Your first sprint is created automatically when you create a new Sprint Folder or Sprint Subfolder.

To add more sprints you can:

Add sprints manually

From the Home Sidebar or Spaces Sidebar:

  1. Hover over a Sprint Folder or Sprint Subfolder.
  2. Click the plus icon and select Sprint.
  3. Or, click Create Sprint.
  4. Configure the settings for the sprint.
    • You can only set a Custom duration if the option has been enabled on the Sprints ClickApp.
  5. Click Create.

Add sprints using Automations

Sprint Automations are available on our Business Plan and above.

To automatically add new sprints, from your Home Sidebar or Spaces Sidebar:

  1. Hover over a Sprint Folder or Sprint Subfolder.
  2. Click the ellipsis ... icon or right click on the Sprint Folder or Sprint Subfolder name.
  3. Click More.
  4. Select Sprint Folder Settings.
  5. Click Automate Sprints.
  6. Click to enable When sprint is done, create new sprints.
  7. Customize the number of sprints to create.
  8. Review the other Sprint Automations.
  9. Click Done.

Plan future sprints

You can add tasks to future sprints at any time.

  • Add tasks to the sprint from your backlog List.
  • Create your tasks in the Sprint. 
  • Add or move tasks from any other List or Sprint.

Remember to leave room in future sprints for any work that might carry over from previous sprints.
