You can create Custom Fields at the Space, Folder, or List level. We recommend the following Custom Fields for project management:

Custom Field type Description Example
Dropdown Choose from a customizable list of options.

Use Dropdown Custom Fields to display information such as:

  • PMO Item Type
  • Project Phase
  • Project Team
  • Company OKRs
  • Department
  • OKR Item Type
  • Quarter
  • Cadence
Label Choose from flexible list of options, similar to the Dropdown Custom Field.

Use Label Custom Fields to display information such as:

  • Required Delivery Teams
  • Initiative
  • Primary Team
  • Required Delivery Teams
  • Who
People Select people or Teams in your Workspace for each task.

Use People Custom Fields to display information such as:

  • Executive Sponsors
  • Key Stakeholders
  • Project Manager
  • Requester
  • Contributors
Text Add a single line of text to display on any task. Use this Custom Field to write success metrics for tasks in this Space, Folder, or List.

Text area (Long Text)

Convert your Text area Custom Field into an AI Field!

 Enter a paragraph of plain text. Use this Custom Field to write a description of your project.

Progress (Auto)

Intelligently generate updates using the Progress Updates AI Field.

 An automatically calculated progress bar that tracks the completion of subtasks, checklists, and assigned comments. Use this Custom Field to automatically track the progress of your projects, objectives, or key results.
Money Enter a formatted amount of money in any currency.

Use Money Custom Fields to display financial information such as:

  • Budget
  • Spent
