URL links in tasks

You can add URLs to task comments and descriptions or by adding a Relationship.

Add a URL to a task

In an open task, you can paste the link into the task comments or description.

Or you can add the URL as a Relationship.

To add a URL as a Relationship:

  1. Open a task.
  2. To the lower-right of the Activity section, click the plus icon.
  3. Paste the link into the Connect a URL text box.

Some website links display as an icon featuring the website logo. Websites that display as an icon include:

  • Git
  • YouTube
  • Loom
  • Figma
  • Google Drive
  • Dropbox
  • Cloudapp

The logo displays to the right of the Activity section. This is helpful to keep linked work, like Figma files for example, easy to find.

Logos are not created for links from all websites.

For links that display as logos,  click the icon to the right of the Activity section. For example, when a YouTube URL is added to a task you'll click the YouTube icon to see the link.

When a URL doesn't display with an icon, you'll click the link icon to see the link.
