Use ClickUp Brain or Super Agents to create slide decks, dashboards, landing pages, and other artifacts from prompts, uploaded files, computed results, and Workspace data.

Creating or editing an artifact consumes AI Credits. For more details on usage, open the Analytics page.

Artifacts are in beta and gradually rolling out to Workspaces.

For example, after Brain analyzes a spreadsheet or compares a dataset with Workspace tasks, you can ask it to turn the results into an executive summary deck, an investor report, or a dashboard. For the full analysis workflow behind these outputs, read Perform data analysis with ClickUp Brain AI.

Create an artifact

You can ask Brain or a Super Agent to create artifacts.

Using Brain

To ask Brain to design an artifact:

1. Open Brain or @mention Brain.
2. Ask Brain to create something.
   • You can also provide a link to an item, like a Doc or List. For example, you could provide a product brief and ask Brain to create product pages.
3. Don't worry about filling in all the details. Brain will chat with you and ask follow-up questions.

Using a Super Agent

If your Super Agent has the Direct Message Trigger enabled, you can ask it Super Agent to create an artifact:

1. In your Home Sidebar or AI Sidebar, click AI.
2. In the Super Agents section of the AI sidebar, click All Agents and select an agent. You can also select an agent under Recent Super Agents.
3. At the top of the agent's page, click Chat.
4. Type your request and press Enter. For example, "Create a landing page for our new ACME protein powder."
5. In the agent's reply, click the Artifact card to open the artifact.

After creation

After the artifact is created, open it to review the latest version and confirm it's ready to use. You can ask for changes in the color palette, tone, style, or anything else.
You can reopen artifacts later from the conversation in which where they were created, and from other places in your Workspace where artifact links and previews appear.

Open an artifact

Your artifacts are saved in your Workspace and listed on the Artifacts page, so you can reopen them without returning to the conversation that created them.
To open an artifact:

1. In your Home Sidebar or AI Sidebar, click AI.
2. Click Artifacts.
3. Click the artifact to open it.
4. Filter artifacts using the tabs at the top or search for an artifact by clicking the search icon in the upper-right corner.

Restore an earlier artifact version

Each time an artifact changes, a version is saved.
To restore an earlier version:

1. Open the artifact.
2. In the upper-left corner of the artifact, click the current version number, such as V2.
3. In the Version history panel, click a version.
4. Click Restore this version.

Share artifacts

To share an artifact:

1. Open the artifact.
2. In the upper-right corner, click Share.
3. Choose how to share the artifact:
   • To share it with people outside your Workspace, click Publish to web.
   • To give everyone in your Workspace access, click Share with Workspace.
   • To share it with specific people or Teams, click the Share with... button.
   • To send the artifact to people who already have access, click Copy ClickUp link.

Add an artifact to a location

Move an artifact into your Hierarchy so your team finds it alongside the rest of their work:

1. Open the artifact.
2. In the upper-left corner, next to the artifact name, click Add Artifact to a location.
3. Select List, Folder, or Space (as a view).
4. Search or browse for the location.

You can also build an artifact directly on a location. In the Views Bar, click View, then click Artifact.

Edit an artifact

Edit an artifact yourself or have Brain make changes for you.
To edit an artifact:

1. Open the artifact.
2. At the bottom of the artifact, click Edit Inline.
3. Click the text you want to change.
4. Use the toolbar to change the text style, font size, font family, or color.
5. To leave edit mode, click the x icon in the toolbar.

To have Brain change one element:

1. Open the artifact.
2. At the bottom of the artifact, click Select item.
3. Click the element you want to change.
4. Describe the change in the field that appears.
5. Click Queue edit for Brain.

Comment on an artifact

To comment on an artifact:

1. Open the artifact.
2. In the upper-right corner, click Add a comment.
3. In the comments sidebar, click an element on the artifact, or use the comment field at the bottom.

To see comments from every version, click All versions at the top of the comments sidebar. To choose who gets notified, click Change followers.

Download, rename, or delete an artifact

To download, rename, or delete an artifact:

1. Open the artifact.
2. In the upper-right corner, click the ellipsis ... icon.
3. Select Download, Rename, or Delete Artifact.

What else can you design?

Without switching tools or leaving your Workspace, you can ask Brain or Super Agents to create artifacts from your actual work.

When you paste an artifact URL anywhere in your Workspace, you have the option to show a visual preview.
