Codegen is designed to work seamlessly alongside human teammates.

There are three ways to use Codegen:

  • Create an Automation that assigns tasks to Codegen or @mentions Codegen in a comment.

  • Manually assign a task to the Codegen agent. This triggers Codegen to take action based on its programmed behavior.

Codegen agents are not traditional assignees. Assigning a task to a Codegen agent triggers the agent to act on it, but a human teammate remains responsible for its completion.

  • @mention Codegen in task comments to trigger its functions.

If you're unsure what the Codegen agent can assist you with, try @mentioning the Codegen agent in a task comment and ask for help.
