The following video is a tutorial demonstrating the use of AI Cards:

AI Dashboard templates

You can create a new Dashboard using a template that features AI Cards. 

Available templates include:

  • AI Team Center: View your team's activity with AI Cards.
  • AI Personal Center: Improve your performance and career with AI Cards. The AI Personal Center template is not available when creating a Dashboard view.

AI cards

You can add AI Cards to any Dashboard. 

The following table describes the available AI cards:

AI Card Description
AI Brain

Run a custom AI prompt.

Apply our best practice suggestions to get the most out of your custom prompts.
AI StandUp Summarize your recent activity during a selected time period.
AI Team StandUp Summarize selected people and teams' recent activity during a selected time period.
AI Executive Summary Generate an up-to-date executive summary, showing the health and status of your department, team, or projects.
AI Project Update Create a high-level overview of your project status and progress.

Add an AI card

To add an AI card:

  1. Create a new or open an existing Dashboard.
  2. In the upper right corner, click + Add card. 
  3. From the left sidebar, select AI Cards.
  4. Click an AI card.
  5. Set your prompt settings.

Edit an AI Card

Hover over an AI Card to access card settings.

All AI Cards include the following options:

  • View full screen.
  • Show History.
  • Rerun AI.
  • Click the ellipsis ... icon and select:
    • Duplicate.
    • Delete card.

Edit your custom prompt

From each AI Brain card, you can edit your custom prompt:

  • Click the pencil icon.
  • Or, click the ellipsis ... icon and select Edit prompt.

Access card settings

From each AI StandUp, AI Team StandUp, AI Executive Summary, and AI Project Update card, you can access card settings:

  • Click the settings icon.
  • Or, click the ellipsis ... icon and select Settings.

AI Card prompt settings

Choose your AI Card prompt settings to specify what content ClickUp AI should generate.

The following table describes the available prompt settings for each AI card:

AI Card Prompt options Description
AI Brain
 		 Prompt Write your custom prompt.
Tools Use various tools to prompt ClickUp AI.
Saved prompts Use a prompt you created previously.
Mention Mention specific items from your Workspace.
Attach files Attach files from your computer for ClickUp AI to use.

 People or Teams Select one or more individual people or Teams.
Since

Options include:

  • Last 24 hours
  • Today
  • Yesterday
  • This week
  • Last 3 days
  • Last 7 days
AI Executive Summary Select location
Select a List, Folder, or Space.
AI Project Update
 		 Select location Select a List, Folder, or Space.
Since

Options include:

  • Last 24 hours
