Intro to Home

Home is your personalized hub to start your day, prioritize your work, and plan what's most important. Home serves as your personal overview of the work that you have to do, whether you prefer seeing it on a calendar card or a list card. Don't be distracted by what others are doing, and use this to see what's most important to you!

What you'll need

Go Home

When you open ClickUp, you're at Home by default.

To navigate to Home from other locations, click Home in the Sidebar.

Add and remove cards

Add and remove cards to only see what you need.

Add cards

To add cards to Home:

  1. In the upper-right corner, click Manage Cards.
  2. To the right of the card, click Add to Home.

Remove cards

To remove cards from Home:

  1. In the upper-right corner, click Manage Cards.
  2. To the right of the card, click Added.

Reorder and resize cards

Customize your Home experience by reordering and resizing cards.

To reorder your cards:

  1. Hover to the left of the card name. 
  2. Grab the drag handle to move the card.

Resize cards

To resize a card:

  1. Hover over the border of the card.
  2. Click and drag the border to resize the card.

Cards have a minimum and maximum width and height.

Home card types

The following Home cards are available:

Home card Description
AI StandUp

If you use ClickUp AI in your Workspace, you can use the AI StandUp card to write a summary of what you've been working on.

You can also use AI to write a StandUp or team update throughout your Workspace.


See items and locations you recently opened on your computer or mobile device. Click any item to open it.

To open the item in a new tab or copy its URL, hover over it and click the appropriate icon to the right.

Use the Agenda card to see scheduled tasks, reminders, and external calendar events in one place.

Reminders do not display when using the Calendar view in the Agenda card.

LineUp Use the LineUp card to identify and organize tasks you need to complete as soon as possible.
Assigned to me Use the Assigned to me card to see the tasks that are assigned to you, sorted by due date.
Reminders Use the Reminders card to see your reminders sorted by due date.
Assigned comments See all unresolved comments assigned to you. Click any comment to open its thread. To resolve a comment, hover over it and click the checkmark icon.
My Work Use the My Work card to see your tasks and reminders in the legacy layout.
Personal List Use the Personal List card to quickly create a to-do list separate from the rest of your Hierarchy.

Drag and Drop tasks between cards

Easily add tasks from one card to another. When you add a task to a new card, the task remains on the original card unless you manually remove it. 

Tasks can be dragged and dropped to LineUp or Agenda from the following cards:

To use the drag-and-drop feature, select Calendar layout in the Agenda card settings.


Enable or disable page greeting

By default, there is a greeting in the upper-left corner of Home. 

To turn the greeting on or off:

  1. In the upper-right corner of Home, click the settings icon.
  2. Enable or disable Page greeting.
