Troubleshooting the ClickUp Chrome Extension

If you're experiencing unintended behavior when using the ClickUp Chrome Extension the steps below might help.

Is your Google Chrome browser up to date?

To verify your Google Chrome browser is running the latest version:
  1. From Google Chrome, click the ellipsis ... icon in the upper-right.
  2. Click Help and then About Google Chrome.
  3. This will bring you to a page where it will either say that you are up to date or an update is required:
     
  4. If it's up to date, no action is needed. If not, simply click to update.

Is the feature enabled?

To check the settings and what you have enabled/disabled:
  1. Open the Chrome Extension.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Check that you have the relevant feature enabled, like the Email feature for the icon to appear in emails:

Unblock the Chrome Extension

To unblock the ClickUp Chrome Extension:
  1. Type chrome://settings/content  in the URL bar of your Chrome browser.
  2. Scroll down to the Content section, click Third-party cookies.
  3. Select Allow third-party cookies.

Reinstall the extension

If you're still having issues, try reinstalling the extension.

To reinstall the app:
  1. Go to the Chrome extensions page: chrome://extensions/
  2. Click Remove.
