While archived Docs are hidden automatically, they are saved so you can find them later.
Unarchiving a Doc restores it to the locations where the Doc was previously shared. If the entire location has been archived, it will need to be unarchived before any Docs are restored.
You can also archive individual pages within a Doc.

Archiving Docs is available on every ClickUp Plan.

Anyone, including guests, with Edit permissions can archive and unarchive Docs.
Archive and unarchive Docs
You can archive Docs from Docs Hub, the Sidebar, Doc views, or from Docs Home.
When unarchiving a Doc it will be restored to the locations where the Doc was previously shared, including:

A task as an attachment

A location in the Sidebar

A location as a Doc view
Archive or unarchive a Doc in Docs Hub
To archive a Doc in Docs Hub:
- Open Docs Hub.
- Under the Recents, Favorites, and Created by Me cards, scroll to the far-right side of the Docs table.
- Select a Doc.
- Click the Doc's ellipsis ... menu.
- Click Archive.
To unarchive a Doc in Docs Hub:
- Open Docs Hub.
- Under the Recents, Favorites, and Created by Me cards, select the Archived tab of the Docs table.
- Select a Doc.
- Click the Doc's ellipsis ... menu.
- Click Unarchive.
Archive Docs in the Sidebar
To archive Docs that have been added to the Sidebar:

In the Sidebar, click the ellipsis ... next to the Doc.

Click Archive.
Show or hide archived Docs
To show or hide archived items in the Sidebar:
- In the Sidebar hover over Spaces tab and click ellipsis ... menu.
- From the Spaces Settings menu, click the Show archived toggle on or off.
Unarchive a Doc in the Sidebar
- From the Spaces Settings menu, click the Show archived toggle on.
- In the Sidebar, click the ellipsis ... next to the Doc.
- Select Unarchive.
