Use the Agent

If you contact the Agent in a location containing the required info, it will use that context.

You can also:

  • DM the Agent.
  • In a Chat Channel message or task comment, @mention the Agent.

Required info

  • The new hire’s @mention or full name.
    • If the full name is provided, the Agent will search for the person in your Workspace.
  • A Doc or task containing onboarding tasks.
  • A bullet-point list of onboarding tasks pasted into the Chat Channel message.
    • If the onboarding tasks include due dates, the Agent will set them on the generated tasks.
  • A Folder or Space where the onboarding List should be created.
    • If any required info is missing, the agent will ask for it.

The Agent's data sources

These are the locations where the Agent is instructed to look for the info it needs to do its job:

  • Docs, tasks, or text that you provide.

The Agent's response

The Agent will respond where it was triggered with a confirmation message containing the new List link.

The List will use this format:

  • The List name is the new employee's full name.
  • Every task created is assigned to the employee.
    • They must belong to your Workspace.
  • Each onboarding action is created as a task in the list with a due date if one is provided.
