Generate images with ClickUp AI 

Generate images from ClickUp task comments, Chat, or the AI icon in the upper-right corner of your Workspace. You can also use this tool with Super Agents and Autopilot Agents.

Anyone needing quick, contextual visuals, like product managers, marketers, or designers, can generate 10 images from one prompt. 

You can generate images from these locations within ClickUp:

Task or Chat comments

To generate images with ClickUp AI from a task, Doc, or Chat:

  1. Open a task, Chat, or DM.
  2. Click into the task comment or message field, and click the AI icon in the lower-left corner.
  3. Ask AI to generate up to 10 images. For example, while brainstorming an ad campaign for a new grocery store, you could type: Generate 5 different, realistic images of pears.

ClickUp Brain Assistant

To generate images via Brain Assistant:

  1. Open Brain from the toolbar or a location header. 
    • If your Workspace is on ClickUp 4.0, you can access the AI Hub.
  2. In some locations, you can click the Generate image tool, then type your prompt. In other locations, you'll just type into the prompt field.
  3. Ask AI to generate up to 10 images. For example, while brainstorming an ad campaign for a new grocery store, you could type: Generate 5 botanical illustrations of pears. 

After generating the images, you have the following choices:

  • Follow ups: ClickUp AI will generally offer you some follow ups or variations.  
  • Prompt field: You can refine your prompt. For example, you could type into the prompt field: Only generate images of green or yellow pears. Or, Add natural backgrounds to the images.
  • Copy: Copy the text to paste it manually into another location. You can also manually copy any part of the generated text.
  • Create a Doc: Create a Doc from the response.
  • Try Again: This selection generates a slightly different response.
  • Like or Dislike: Upvote or downvote the response to help us improve ClickUp AI!
