When you're using the Duration ClickApp, you can include task durations in templates.
For templates created before enabling the Duration ClickApp, you will need to update the existing template to include durations on tasks.
We recommend not using start and due dates in templates with durations. When you apply the template, setting the start or due date on your newly created tasks will use the duration to schedule your work.
