Use filtering to see tasks that meet specific criteria and sorting to organize individual card data. Different cards have different filtering and sorting options.
If you want to filter all of your Dashboard cards at once, read our article on Dashboard filters.

What you’ll need

  • 100 uses of Dashboards are available on the Free Forever Plan.
  • Unlimited uses of Dashboards are available on the Unlimited Plan and above.
  • Some cards are only available on the Business Plan and above.
  • The Dashboards ClickApp is enabled in every new Workspace by default, but a Workspace owner or admin may disable the ClickApp.
  • Guests can be invited to specific Dashboards with view-only permissions.

Card filters

Cards show tasks that currently meet your filter criteria.

Time-based cards

Some cards display task data over time, while others act as a snapshot of the current moment. Time-based cards display the historical data of tasks that currently meet your filter criteria.
For example, a task that is currently urgent Priority may have been high Priority last week, so you'll see both Priority levels in the chart.
Below is an example of the card settings with a priority filter applied.

Use visual filters

When creating or editing a card, some X Axis options include visual filters. These filters allow you to precisely define what data appears on your card.

For example, when using the X Axis of Assignee, you can use the Show Assignees visual filter to only display data from selected individuals.
