Ensure your Workspace is protected from any unauthorized access with ClickUp's two-factor authentication (2FA).
There are two ways you can enable 2FA:

Using an authenticator app
We recommend using one of the following third-party authenticator apps:
What you'll need

Individual members and guests can enable 2FA on their accounts on any ClickUp Plan

Requiring 2FA for everyone in a Workspace is available on our Business Plan and above

2FA using an authenticator app is available on any ClickUp Plan

2FA via SMS is available on our Business Plan and above
Note: 2FA via SMS may not be available in all regions.
Enable 2FA for your ClickUp account
To turn on 2FA for your account:

Click your account avatar in the lower-left corner

Select My Settings

Choose your authentication type

SMS: enter your mobile number and click Send code

Authenticator app: either scan the QR code or manually enter the code provided in ClickUp

Enter the verification code provided on your device

Click Set up
-
2FA will be enabled immediately on your account

Require 2FA for your Workspace
Only Workspace owners or admins can access Security & Permissions settings including requiring 2FA for all users with access to a Workspace.

Click your Workspace avatar in the lower-left corner

Select Security & Permissions

Choose your 2FA preference

Require 2FA (members are required to set up 2FA by their third login)
- If 2FA is not set up by their third login attempt, they must set it up via SMS instead.

Anyone with access to your Workspace will be prompted or required to set up 2FA at their next log in
See who has 2FA enabled
Only Workspace owners or admins can access People settings to view the members and guests in their Workspace.

Click your Workspace avatar in the lower-left corner

Select People
-
Check the Security column for the two-factor authentication icon to see who has enabled 2FA
